Abstract:
Pennsylvania has a powerful new tool for promoting its agricultural industry—AgMap, a comprehensive, on-line directory of agricul-tural businesses. Consumers can find homegrown products in rural areas, equipment suppliers, or expert advice on plant nutrition—all with the click of a mouse. AgMap also is boosting businesses throughout the state, helping them grow with its accessible, direct-marketing strategy. Free for all Pennsylvania businesses, the Website is funded by the Pennsylvania State University Cooperative Extension, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and RGIS.
