The Cooperative Extension emphasizes both education and technology transfer of geographic information system (GIS) and related geospatial technologies to clients throughout Pennsylvania. Special emphasis of the program deals with environmental and local government applications.

The Land Analysis Lab (LAL) specializes in the use of GIS and related advanced geospatial / information system technologies for environmental assessment, agriculture, land management and planning.

The Penn State Cooperative Extension, Geospatial Technology Program (GTP) Land Analysis Lab is a research,
cooperative extension, and teaching program in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University.
We specialize in the use of GIS and related advanced information system technologies for environmental assessment, agriculture,
and land management and planning.
We use the ABCpdf ASP PDF component for HTML to PDF conversion.
